Our company standardizes and exports the best-quality extra virgin olive oil Essia produced in the Western Peloponnese, a region where abundant sunshine and moderate rainfall nurture the very best olive trees.
The name Essia is inspired by the ancient Greek word Εσσία (Essia) which means essence.
It is a completely natural product with extremely high nutritional value, produced straight from the olives and solely by mechanical means.
We receive it exactly as extracted from the olive mill, with no processing or mixing involved.
It derives from Koroneiki olive trees, designated a world heritage variety by the International Olive Council, which produce olive oil with a fruity aroma, fresh delicate flavour and low acidity.
Every year, when the fresh olive oil is extracted, from producers who comply with the high quality standards we have set, we collect samples which undergo chemical analysis in a chemical laboratory approved by the International Olive Council and tasting.
